By accessing the Screenbox website (screenbox.dev), downloading, installing, or using the Screenbox software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software or access the website.
Screenbox is developed and maintained by Dmytro Klymentiev ("Author," "we," "us," or "our"). The Software is available at github.com/dklymentiev/screenbox.
Screenbox is an open-source software product that provides virtual desktop environments for AI agents. It runs as self-hosted Docker containers on your own infrastructure and supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for AI agent integration. The Software is designed to be deployed and operated entirely on infrastructure owned and controlled by the user.
The Screenbox software is released under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3.0 (AGPL-3.0). The full text of the license is available at gnu.org/licenses/agpl-3.0.html and in the LICENSE file included with the source code.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the AGPL-3.0 license, the AGPL-3.0 license shall prevail with respect to your rights to use, modify, and distribute the Software source code.
As a user of AGPL-3.0 licensed software, you must comply with the following obligations:
Failure to comply with the AGPL-3.0 license terms automatically terminates your rights under that license.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dmytro Klymentiev and any contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Software, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Screenbox includes or depends on third-party open-source software components, each of which is subject to its own license terms. It is your responsibility to review and comply with the licenses of all third-party components included in or required by the Software. A list of dependencies and their licenses can be found in the project repository.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Software after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
